As a qualified Art Therapist, I love weaving the therapeutic side of creativity into our classes and community. Over the years, I’ve seen so many reasons why people hesitate to start, or even stop, learning new things. Whether it’s fear of making mistakes, feeling like it’s too late to learn, or struggling to make time for yourself with everything else going on… you’re not alone.

Each week, I share gentle Art Therapy reflections over in our community to remind us all that our hobbies aren’t just something “extra”; they’re a meaningful way to care for ourselves when life feels overwhelming. Taking time to create is not only okay, it’s essential for reconnecting with joy, calm, and confidence.

Below is a collection of these posts, here whenever you need a little inspiration or encouragement. I've also linked to the original Facebook post in case you want to read the comments and our discussion. Feel free to bookmark the page or share it with someone who might be having a hard day. The simple link is: www.kitandclowder.com/arttherapy

I'll update this page each week so check in often. And if you ever need a hand getting started, finding motivation, or letting go of perfectionism, I’m just a message away. Happy colouring!
